Congratulations!
You've Taken the First Step!
Welcome! By joining us tonight, you’ve taken an important and significant step toward protecting your family and preserving your legacy. Most people put this off for years — you didn’t. We congratulate you on that decision.
At Kocian Law Group, we’re ready to provide you with the dedicated guidance you need, and we look forward to walking beside you through every step of your estate plan.
Now that you are ready to proceed forward, where do we go from here?
First, we will need you (and your spouse if you are married) to fill out our Estate Planning Questionnaire. Simply click the button below and fill out the information as requested:
Next, once the questionnaire is completed, our firm will review the information that you have submitted, and we will schedule a Peace of Mind / Estate Plan Design Meeting. Here’s what will happen:
- You’ll select a Planning Package (see our Estate Planning Packages below)
- We’ll sign the Engagement Letter (which will be sent to you through DocuSign once you select an Estate Planning package — just reply to our email and indicate which package you have selected)
- We’ll collect Payment in Full
- We’ll meet with you for your Peace of Mind / Estate Plan Design Meeting and design your Estate Plan, working off the information you provided in your Family Profile in the questionnaire
- We will draft your documents and send them to you for review, typically within 2 weeks
- We will send you a letter (by email) asking for your response to the drafts — i.e., (1) Documents look fine, no changes necessary; (2) I have changes and/or corrections to the documents; or (3) I have questions about the documents or need further clarification and would like to discuss them with the Attorney (please write out your questions or clarification points in your response so that we may best serve you). At this juncture, your Estate Planning documents will be approved by you once all questions have been answered and any edits/changes have been completed to the final documents.
- We’ll schedule a date/time/place for your Signing Ceremony meeting where you will sign the final paperwork and complete your Estate Planning.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BOOKING THE SIGNING CEREMONY:
- If you are married, both spouses must be in attendance
- Before booking your Signing Ceremony you will have already reviewed and approved your final paperwork
- Please note: There will be no changes or further review of the Estate documents at the Signing Ceremony
If any of the above conditions are not met, we ask that you kindly reschedule.
We look forward to serving you!
